RCIA is the process by which persons who were never baptized or were baptized in another Christian tradition, become full members of the Catholic Church. Classes are open to everyone seeking spiritual growth and a deeper knowledge and understanding of our Catholic Faith and true discipleship. Classes began on Thursday, October 1st at 6:30PM in classroom C. To register or for more information please call the church office and leave your name and contact number.
What is the Bible? Where does it come from, and what is it’s purpose? How are Catholics supposed to read the Bible and what story does it tell? These are the questions we’ll cover in the 12-week DVD study by the St. Paul Center, “Genesis to Jesus” journey through Scripture starting September 8th.
This year due to the Coronavirus, reception into the Church was postponed until Sunday, July 19th with a special Mass for the candidates and their families. Six adults from other faith denominations were welcomed with full reception into the Catholic Church. There were another five adults who were Confirmed.
The Eucharistic Adoration Chapel of the Two Hearts will reopen Monday, July 6th with limited hours due to COVID-19 restrictions. For the month of July, 2020, the chapel will be open Monday - Friday, 8am - noon and Saturday 8am - 2pm. Please respect COVID-19 social distancing guidelines while inside the chapel. Masks are recommended but not required. Thanks to Linda and George Mekulsia for their dedication to the chapel and their recent retirement from the chapel. They have been dedicated leaders and a blessing to us all! Maureen Wallace has agreed to take over the management for the chapel.
The 9am Mass was previously scheduled to be discontinued effective July 5th, 2020. However, it will continue as regularly scheduled. This Mass will continue throughout the summer and will not be discontinued.
You are invited to a celebration of the 39th anniversary of the Apparitions of Our Lady of Medjugorje this Thursday, June 25th, 2020 at 5pm. Note that the bulletin and other notifications originally mentioned the Mass was at 6pm. However, the correct time is at 5pm.
